Shipping

Orders are shipped every day or every other day. Please provide a valid U.S. Postal Service (USPS) mailing address. All orders go through the USPS. We usually finish packaging orders for the day around 3 p.m. Mountain Time. The Post Office closest to our office stops their last collection at 4 p.m. so we need to drop off packages before then.

Orders of 1-4 maps are mailed First Class. The USPS says First Class is 2-5 days delivery, depending on distance from Montana (if you are in Montana it is 2 days delivery). Orders of 5+ maps are mailed Priority Mail because, at that quantity, that is the less expensive option. The USPS says Priority Mail is 1-3 days delivery.

We do not offer overnight or second day shipping only because there is occasionally a day when we are out of the office traveling for map research. So if we are out of the office for one day expedited shipping is misleading. The order would not go out the day it was ordered.

We do not sell our maps anywhere on the Internet other than on this website. If you read somewhere on the Internet that your order will ship in two weeks that information did not come from us. It is most likely from a store which buys our maps from a distributor, so there might be a two week travel time for the maps to go from our office to that store.
